MAJOR IMPACT EVENTS

Major Impact is a youth mentoring program with an artistic twist. With today's ever-changing societies and technologies, we offer a back to the basics approach to self-expression. Major Impact focuses on the Arts and seeks to cultivate, motivate, and change a generation.

TRANSFORMATION EVENT

Transformation is our mission and throughout the year, we hold workshops and seminars to encourage positive personal growth through health and educational awareness. Our main community event is held once a year where the community is celebrated with a fabulous and fun outdoor event.

THANKSGIVING EVENT

Each year, BWO holds its annual Thanks- giving event for those in need, the homeless, and the senior community. Prior to the Thanksgiving day dinner event, we provide needy families with baskets for their at home Thanksgiving dinner. We serve over 2500 individuals each year. Stay tuned for 2015 dates.

CHRISTMAS EVENT

What an exciting time of year where we put hundreds of smiles on the faces of needy children throughout the city. We partner with the Marine Corp Toys for Tots as well as other community organizations to make this event a success. In past years, we've given away over 3000 toys and gifts; 2015 will be even greater. It's never too soon to donate.

COMMUNITY APPRECIATION EVENT

BWO doesn't just tell you, we show you.

So, we pepare a day of fellowship and dinner for individuals and families to let them know just how much they are appreciated. We have awesome giveaways during this event and everyone leaves gratified and uplifted.

HIV/AIDS EVENT

Awareness, prevention, testing and treatment is what we promote during this annual event. During this workshop, community health professionals presents a plethora of information and statistics to educate the community about the affects and effects of the disease.
